Regarding Moonrakers; I will say it is pleasant to deal with somebody who is interested in actually selling the bike and being helpful about it. For me this was an optional purchase and I did not feel I had to (or wanted to) deal with people who are indifferent to my concerns and requests. Therefore I was prepared to go 100 miles out of my way to visit your premises. I appreciated the time you and Stacey (I hope I remember correctly) spent showing me the bike, talking over the options and following up with info by email.
Your premises is modern, clean and tidy and this gives a good impression. You come across as knowledgeable and gave me the impression that you were in touch with the market generally – therefore able to give me general advice. From a customer point of view this is much better than the general standard for motorcycle dealers I have experienced.

Dear Sir
Today I came into your store with my ex-husband and our son, Callum who was 18 yesterday to purchase a motorcycle for him.
I would like to say a big thank-you to Ben for his time today. He was polite, knowledgeable, down-to-earth and gave some good practical advice to a young boy getting his first bike. As a mother I felt that he had my sons best interest at heart. Ben was professional and I didn't feel pressured or rushed into making a decision, which was impressive as the store was quite busy. What also impressed me was that Ben spoke to me, so often in the past when I have been in a traditionally male dominated environment I have found that I and my concerns have been ignored. That was not the case with Ben, nothing was too much trouble. He is a credit to you and your company.
My son chose the Zontes Monster in Orange, and is looking forward to doing his cbt.
Once again Thank you. I am sure you will be seeing my son frequently in the future.

Just to say a huge thank you for addition of the top box yesterday. I can't even begin to tell you what a difference it makes to the ride for me. It is much better than any of the other bikes we've had for comfort and riding position. I can even reach the footrests comfortably!

Having purchased my very own little Spitfire earlier this month, I finally rode it on the memorable date of 31st October 2011 the perfect ending to a perfect Month. I had so much fun zipping to Moonrakers and then stopped off for Tom (74) the Standard Bearer of the Hellesdon branch of the Royal British Legion, who was collecting for the Poppy Appeal at B&Q. He had a sit on it and photo opportunity! He grinned nearly ear to ear to match my beam!

Jan 2011 customer bought a used Vespa GTS after seeing it in our website. And then rode it back to Leeds.
Hi Paul,
Just to let you know I got back safe and sound last night, it took me 5 hours including fuelling stops and toilet breaks. I could have done it quicker but I kept getting stuck behind lorries on A17 and A47 single carriageways. It was getting dark as I hit the A1 and it started raining (just what I needed!!).
I was really surprised how easy it is to ride the bike on motorways, the extra weight makes a big difference compared to my px I wasn't having to fight against the wind like before.
Also overtaking lorries is a great feeling having spent four years being overtaken all the time, now I'm the one doing the overtaking.
Overall it's a fantastic scooter as you already know and it really pleased with it.

Just want to say the scooter has been fantastic so far! As you know i set off about 5pm on Friday. Arrived Scarborough safely at 11.45pm, after 2 stops. One for a meal (hour plus) and another for a coffee. The Piaggio handled superbly all the way home. The weather was blustery & it rained most of the way. However not once did the bike skid/slide on the slippery roads, it felt very safe. I was also well protected from the elements. I was warm & mostly dry when i arrived back. The last time wearing the same gear coming back from the Lake District on my bike i was soaked to the skin. (Must buy better waterproofs).
I did 290 kilometres getting back & have ridden it every day since, 600+ on the clock now. I have found it suits my needs exactly, i went to Rievaulx Abbey on Sunday. It was great being able to stow all my riding gear in the top box and under the seat & wander round like a "normal" person. Also plenty of room for flask, lunch and camera gear.
Today i used it for its primary purpose, 5 mile trip to work. Its agile in traffic, nippy away from the lights & leaves kids on smelly two strokes eating its dust.
I am taking it out tomorrow for another run as i get a day off in the week. It should not be long before it needs its first 1000km service. Unfortunately a 600km round trip may be a bit much!
